Who we are

DRIFTKAI is a drift school. We decide how the personal data described here is used; the Act calls this being the data fiduciary. To reach us about your data, write to vieekas@driftkai.com or call +91 98712 66452.

This website stores nothing

The site has no accounts and no payments, and it stores nothing you type. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and every file it shows comes from the site itself.

The enquiry form on the Contact page emails your answers to us when you press Send enquiry. Resend, an email delivery service, carries the email from this site to our inbox; the site keeps no copy, and the email stays in our inbox like any other.

Like any website, it is served by a hosting provider (Vercel), whose servers keep technical logs of each request, such as your IP address, your browser and the page asked for, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Links to WhatsApp, email, phone, Instagram and Google Maps open those services, and their own privacy policies apply there. WhatsApp is run by Meta.

When you contact us or book

We only have the personal data you send us with the enquiry form or by WhatsApp, email, phone or Instagram, and what we need to run your booking:

• Your name and contact details
• What you tell us in your messages
• Details for your day, such as your arrival for the airport pickup and hotel, and your companion's name if you bring someone
• Health information you choose to declare so that you can drive safely
• Photos and footage of you driving, including the footage of your run that you take home

Why we use it

• To answer you and arrange your booking
• To book your hotel night and transfers, and plan meals for you and your companion
• To run the day safely
• To send you your certificate and the footage of your best run
• To keep the accounts and records the law requires

We use photos or footage of you to promote DRIFTKAI, on this site or on Instagram, only if you agree, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the people who help us deliver your day: the hotel, the transfer providers, the circuit, and the companies that run our email (Google), deliver the enquiry form's emails (Resend) and host this website (Vercel). These companies may process your data on servers outside India. We don't sell personal data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Until it's no longer needed for the reasons above, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it, such as tax records; then we delete it. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• Correct or update it
• Delete it
• Stop using it where you gave your consent
• Deal with someone you name to act for you
• Answer a grievance about how we handle your data

If you're not satisfied with our answer to a grievance, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Participants are 18 or over. If a companion is under 18, we ask a parent or guardian for their details and their consent.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to keep personal data secure, and only the people who run your booking can see it.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
